The COVID-19-related economic collapse has wreaked havoc on many New York State homeowners and their families. For a plethora of reasons, including loss of primary and secondary income due to unemployment, illness, and death, they now face the prospect of losing their homes. While Federal, state, and local governments have thankfully passed relief laws to address this housing crisis, keeping current with their ever-changing terms and extensions can, to say the least, be quite challenging. “COVID-19 Homeowner Relief Overview” aims to provide a broad overview of current COVID-19 relief laws and seeks to simplify their numerous overlapping terms and regulations.
