Rebecca A. Corso currently serves as the Executive Deputy Commissioner for the New York State Department of Civil Service, leading workforce management for the NYS government. She brings more than 20 years of dedicated public service experience administering programs and operations that support New Yorkers.
Previously, she shaped long-term care policy and health care finance as a Deputy Director with the NYS Department of Health’s Office of Health Insurance Programs. Rebecca also provided fiscal oversight for human services programs (including juvenile justice and child care) as an Associate Budget Examiner with the NYS Division of Budget. Rebecca has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Binghamton University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University at Albany.
