Lauren Guillem

Lauren Guillem is a Staff Attorney in the Central Islip office, where she represents tenants facing a variety of housing issues, including evictions and uninhabitable living conditions. Prior to joining Empire Justice Center, Lauren worked in both the Nassau County and Suffolk County District Attorney’s Offices, where she represented victims of crime. Lauren is also a certified special education teacher and spent eight years working with children with disabilities. She is deeply passionate about advocacy and ensuring that individuals whose voices are often unheard receive the attention, support, and justice they deserve.
