Alex Starkes is the Program & Marketing Manager for the Crime Victims Legal Network (CVLN) at Empire Justice Center. In this role, she leads outreach, communications, and marketing initiatives that connect crime victims, advocates, and service providers with legal resources throughout New York State.
Alex earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University. After spending six years in Atlanta pursuing her education and professional growth, she returned home to Rochester, New York, and joined the CVLN team at Empire Justice Center.
Alex is passionate about community engagement, public service, and expanding access to resources for underserved populations. Through her work with CVLN, she is committed to raising awareness of victims’ rights, building meaningful partnerships, and helping ensure that crime victims can access the legal information and support they need.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys shopping, content creation, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
