Medicaid Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) is a reality in New York State. As advocates, we need to be informed about the spectrum of issues and questions surrounding its implementation. From the basic (What is MLTC and who has to enroll?), to the more complex (What are the protections for individuals whose plans propose reductions and what rights do beneficiaries have once they are required to enroll in MLTC?) this training provides answers to the many questions we encounter as MLTC becomes mandatory in New York.
